We have our core group set to get things started. Only one person met with us yesterday, but the others called and want to know more so we can get this rolling. The overall response was "Wow! That's a great idea!" So I will be meeting with a few people each day, as schedules allow.
One Sgt. signed right up with a Personal mall following the memo last Thursday. I'm sending him a thank you note today, and will encourage him to upgrade.
I am especially happy about another Sgt. who is very interested in not only helping Mike, but his daughter's school as well. He saw the enormous potential immediately. I offered him my full support in working with the school.
I received a very supportive email from Big Z's Mom, and I am taking her advice branch out. It's important to keep moving forward. A letter came in the mail on Saturday from a non profit called Community Partners, Inc. The first sentence reads,"Non profit organizations are facing many challenges in these difficult times."
I will contact the Director of Operations today to set an appointment to meet.

ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful news. It would be fantastic if the one Sgt. is able to help his daugther's school, too. I'm grinning ear to ear, knowing full well, that you are succeeding with Boot Camp, and, that you're going to far exceed the expectations set financially---- that number is exponential as you told us some figures on a call last week ;-). Financial numbers aside, you have a thriving team forming, and the folks joining with you will gain a caring-hearted and determined leader that will also bring them very big rewards for their efforts.

ReplyDeletea look in the new york non-profit press and it is scary and sad.I did have tears in my eyes. they talk about how the non-profits are hurting right now and how it is going to get worse. They suggest the npo's figure out other ways of doing things. HELLO@*^#% It is going to get worse. It stated how much is spent in ny by npo's. Things they have to buy to run their organization. Everything on the list can be bought in or out of their mall, they would save so much.I think that Ginny is right it took 8 years to go through what the company had gone through to get to this point. We can offer so much. Even much more then a month ago. It is timing. Higher power, I don't know.(Ginny does go to that mountain like Mosses,only difference is she has a notebook)Ginny Moses! This is our time to show how Together We Can Change the World! It was meant to be. Why was it named that? or Power Mall? Because it IS and WILL!!!!!
